Schools been eating all my time ;~; I hope I can start to be on DA more though! I miss you guys so much,,,, TT~TT
Anyway, My LA teacher assgned us a drawing (for homework) on the book we are reading, "Night"
It's about the holocaust...
Here is the description I put for my homework:
I based this drawing off of the idea this quote: "Never shall I forget that night, the first night in camp, which has turned my life into one long night . . . Never shall I forget the faces of the children . . . Never shall I forget those flames which consumed my faith forever."
This picture is of Elie Wiesel. his hand and eyes are grey because I decided to draw him being consumed by the "night." As we discussed in class, "night" is a very symbolic word used in this book. In the quote above, it says that his life was turned "into one long night." I decided to draw him being consumed by it, because he is being metaphorically eaten alive by the things he's seen, and he even says that he was "deprived, for all eternity, of the desire to live."
